Take Flight Exhibit

I just won The CAA’s President’s Choice Award for my piece “Don’t Give A Hoot” in the Exhibit “Take Flight” at the Foster Gallery.

Take Flight Show

Kay Richoux’s artwork named “Don’t Give A Hoot” has been selected for the Take Flight Show.

The show will be exhibited at The Foster Gallery’s new location in Grand Boulevard. The Foster Gallery will now be located at 560 Grand Boulevard, directly adjacent to J. Crew. The Take Flight Show with be May 2 – June 10.

Layers of Textures Workshop!

I am hosting a Layers of Texture workshop, Saturday March 11th! It will be at the Lafayette Art Association & Gallery from 10 am – 3pm. The cost is $80 for LAA Members and $90 for Non Members. Emerald Coast Theater

Emerald Coast Theater’s pop up gallery has asked me for art to display during A Dickens Christmas: A Ghostly Story. The exhibit at the pop-up gallery at 560 Grand Boulevard in Sandestin runs from Dec. 9 thru Dec. 24, 2016. There will be art from several local artists. I will have paintings on display there.

Studio Updates!

New Studio!
My new studio in Lafayette, Louisiana is up and running. To kick this off I am participating in Open Studio Tours with the Lafayette Art Association on Nov. 19 and 20,2017.

Exhibit at the Lafayette Public Library
Also, I will be on exhibit at the Lafayette Public Library, in Lafayette, LA. Exhibit titled Kay Richoux: The Evolution of an Artist, from January 13, 2017 through March 9, 2017. Over 30 pieces on display from first pieces of work to current works.

Coastal Branch Library
On exhibit at the Coastal Branch Library of Walton County June, July, and August. Over 30 pieces on display.

Art Retreat in Scotland
And I am going on an Art Retreat in Scotland May 8, 2017 through 16, 2017, with another artist Ivy Newport and about 20 plus other artists to take in some history and beautiful sites and of course paint.

My work is still for sale and on display at Mermaids of 30a at the Hub, Clay Nursery, Emerald Coast Gallery and Gifts, and Sundog Books sells my prints and stationary.

Art at Emerald Coast Theatre!

So excited… My art has been selected for display and sale at the Lowkylzart pop-up gallery in conjunction with Emerald Coast Theatre Company’s professional performance of “Constellations” at 560 Grand Boulevard Upstairs in Sandestin, FL. Constellations will be Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 and Sundays at 2:30 October 21-November 6. Please buy a ticket to the performance and support your local arts!

Well, I said yes… First Vice President of the Lafayette Art Association and Art Gallery

I was asked to help lead the Lafayette Art Association and Art Gallery for the 2016 year as First Vice President.   I am honored to have been asked and I am looking forward to assisting our New President, Ms. Susan Chiquelin and the entire association in all of its future endeavors.   Here’s to a fantastic year filled with art!!!  Here I am pictured with Mrs. Sara Parker at the LAA.
